1. The Marine Corps. Was first made a U.S. branch of the military on November 10, 1775.
2. The Marine Corps colors are Scarlet & Gold
3. That when you first join the marines or any branch of the U.S. military your rate is Private
4. After training you become a Private first class and you can raise your rank from there
5. That as a Marine Corps reserve officer you have to do 1 marines type events or job a month and 2 weeks out of a year
6. As a Marine Corps reserve officer you can still be call upon to serve you country in any time of need
7. That the marines were formed out of the Navy but has all the components of every branch of the U.S. Military
